Elementary Training Program for Students (12 Hours)

It is never too early to dive into the world of psychology and start exploring what this field has in store for you! The elementary training program is specially designed for high school students who are eager to understand the nuances of Psychology and how they can build their future in this field. The  topics are structured in a way where students are introduced to the different spheres of Psychology which will help them gauge their areas of interest and the career options that ensue. A special emphasis is placed on introducing students to the concepts of gender, sexuality, queer affirmative and sensitivity training all of which are essential foundations to multicultural mental health practice. Students also receive a chance to learn therapeutic modules that are contemporary and imminent. The program provides students with a forum to interact with professional and competent psychologists who are well versed with therapies and evidence based practices which will help them not only equip them with basic information about Psychology but also help them choose a career path in the field.

  • Various subfields of psychology 
  • The scope of psychology as a career
  • Sensitivity training 
  • Queer Affirmative Therapy  
  • First, second and third wave therapeutic approaches 
  • Role plays, activities and discussions
