This training, led by our senior child psychologist, is specifically designed for psychology students and early-career practitioners who want to build a strong foundation in working with children and adolescents in different settings. The program offers a structured understanding of child counselling processes, developmental concerns, and clinical approaches required for working with young populations.

Through case discussions, in-house expert-led sessions and assignments, students will learn how to understand children’s emotional and behavioural worlds, while developing skills to respond to their needs with sensitivity and care.

This program focuses on developing & polish therapist’s skills to work with children through developmentally appropriate approaches, ethical awareness, and contextual understanding. The training will also explore how to navigate complex and crisis situations involving children. Additionally, it will integrate perspectives on working with diverse children populations, navigating complex family dynamics, and building safe therapeutic spaces. Overall, it supports students in developing a child and adolescent-centric counselling practice.
