Basics of IQ testing (4 hours)
This comprehensive workshop aims to provide the knowledge and skills required in the assessment of intelligence. The workshop is structured to help students develop basic understanding of intelligence testing, providing students with an opportunity to enhance their skills. The workshop will include an introduction to intelligence, types of intelligence assessments, application of the same, as well as scoring and report writing. Participants will get the opportunity to administer these assessments during the workshop as well.
Topics Covered
- Binet-Kamat Test of Intelligence (BKT): Participants will gain an understanding of the assessment, applications, scoring, proration of IQ with regards to BKT.
- Malin’s Intelligence Scale for Indian Children (MISIC): Participants will learn how to administer the test, scoring, as well as interpretation of the assessment.
- Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS): Administration, scoring and interpretation will be discussed.
