Violence and abuse can take many forms, affecting individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. This workshop aims to shed light on these critical issues of abuse and violence, fostering awareness, empathy, and a commitment to creating a safer, more just society. Understanding Violence & Forms of Abuse:

Abuse encompasses a range of behaviors, from overt acts to subtle forms of control and manipulation. This section explores the dynamics of abuse and its far-reaching impacts on individuals, families, and communities.

Child Abuse and Neglect:

Children, among the most vulnerable members of society, can be subjected to various forms of abuse and neglect, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect of their basic needs. This section examines the signs, consequences, and prevention strategies related to child maltreatment.

Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Abuse:

Intimate partner violence can occur in any relationship, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status. This section delves into the cycle of violence, power and control dynamics, and the long-lasting effects on survivors and their families. It also explores resources and support systems available to those affected by domestic abuse.
